The Carving

A trunk rises out of swirling grain at the base and spreads into branches and leaves near the top, all inside an arched outline. Layered relief gives the canopy real depth, and the glass behind it adds contrast.

Build and Finish

Only solid hardwood goes into it; you will find no veneer, composite, or engineered core. Every branch and leaf is carved by hand, then the surface is sanded and finished to bring the grain forward. The textured glass softly diffuses incoming light.
